I recorded Dead on Arrival 'Fatal Obsession' about Rebecca Schaeffer's career and death. I got curious and looked her up. I came to imdb (I use this site every day) and saw comments about wanting DVDs of the show so I researched it. This DVD set was available until today on Amazon. It says currently unavailable. It was a good show to start wit but I lost interest in it and had stopped watching it before the cancellation. It looks like there were some episodes that never aired too.
I love Rebecca too! Loved the Dead On Arrival episode about her, it was very good. As a long-time Rebecca fan, I have to say that I don't think the DVD set of My Sister Sam was EVER available, and that's a shame; I've checked the Amazon site and any kind of DVD was never available *yet*----I think there might be one in the future and you can sign up to be notified of this. It's a shame: I think there are tons of people who would want it. Lots of lesser shows are made into DVD's, I think it's high time for My Sister Sam to come out :) Yes, there were alot of episodes that never officially aired; the show was cancelled before they could air. Just call me a Rebecca expert, I could tell you anything you want to know of her, ha ha. Happy Thanksgiving :)
I'm a huge fan of Rebecca, too. My Sister Sam has never been released officially on DVD although there are fan copies of the series which are available online. It was a great sitcom and I think it would be nice to own properly. Rebecca is so charismatic and wonderful in it.
