Terrible idea. Doesn't sound INTERESTING whatsoever. And since when does Matlock work for a prestigious law firm fighting corruption from within? Just call it something else. I've been watching Matlock on Pluto and Andy Griffith is mostly what makes the show.

shareA lot of actors when they get up there in age move to television series for the steady work. Some of their stuff can be really good sometimes. At least that's how it used to be. Nowadays famous actors that aren't even all that old are turning to series work quite often I've noticed.
shareI don't mean television work, but the fact that it's a remake of a show that, although very entertaining, was never considered highbrow. You'd expect Kathy Bates to be offered an original show based on her reputation.
shareYour comment makes me think of Arnold Schwarzenegger being in the series finale of 2 and a half men.
