Episode help

There is this episode that I always used to hear my brother talk about in a fond manner. The only thing I can remember about this particular episode is that it's main plot involves a man who is a cheap Frank Sinatra/Tony Bennet type singer; in Vegas, lounge or a casino possibly? Of course, he gets accused of murder.
My brother always said that the character at one point performs "Luck be a lady tonight" and that he has a really bad tan and dresses gaudy.
Is anyone familiar with this episode? I may have gotten some details wrong, however any help will due.

Well, it looks like the song "Luck Be A Lady Tonight" was used in the episode "The Gambler" (Sn. 2, Ep. 7). It may have been used in other episodes so there's no guarantee that's the one you're looking for. Do you have any idea who was the guest star?

Hope this helps ...

Thanx! I don't know any of the guest stars but I'm going to keep a lookout for this episode when it airs and hopefully this is the one my brother has always talked about.

Was that Dick Gautier? I know he sings that song over and over in an episode , but maybe not a Matlock.
Best remembered as Hymi on Get Smart to babyboomers. Now it is stuck in my head again, he is s great singer and entertainer in Las Vegas.
