Characters Who Vanished Without Explanation?

As has been said here, there were a lot of cast changes throughout the show's 9 season run. However, only a few were actually given an explanation for why they left; I.E.-Charlene moved to Philadelphia and started her own practice. LeAnn moved to L.A. and met a guy. In the final season it was revealed former A.D.A. Julie March moved to L.A. as well. Police Lt. Bob Brooks was brought back out of nowhere just to be killed off that season as well.

The rest I don't think we were ever told what happened to. If we were, please jump in and correct me;

- Tyler Hudson, P.I.

- Cassy, Ben's secretary/legal assistant.

- Michelle Thomas, attorney.

- Conrad McMasters, P.I.

- Les "Ace" Calhoun, Ben's next door neighbor.

- Mrs. Hawkins, Ben's housekeeper.

- Mrs. McCardle, Ben's 2nd housekeeper.

*Anyone else I omitted?

Keene Holiday who played Tyler Hudson got fired because of a drinking problem. The rest I don't know.

Noticed that myself. Andy was a real pro and I don't think he would want to write anyone out just in case, but also, there is no wasted dialogue in his shows. If it doesn't further the plot, it usually isn't said.

I haven't watched a lot of episodes past when Clarence Gilyard Jr. left. Though I started watching the 4th season recently and Tyler was in a season 4 episode after Conrad was introduced in the first episode of it which is weird.
