I attended a taping of LIFE WITH LUCY in Hollywood

I attended a taping of one of the LIFE WITH LUCY episodes in the 80's when I was visiting L.A. It was great to see Lucy and Gale Gordon in person. My main memory is that - between scenes - Lucy pulled out a whistle that she would blow at the director and various crew members when she wanted their attention.

I also remember attending a taping of an episode of this show. The guest star was Peter Graves and it was about a remodeling project and at some point the set had to collapse as part of the story line. And it did, right on que. Quite impressive but I don't remember much else about it.
