I remember watching the show in 1986 - it did not even air for a full season. I think only 7 or 8 episodes aired.
I have loved everything Lucille Ball did but watching those few episodes made me sad. She was the same age as my parents so we all had high hopes for this show at its debut.
One problem was that the writers somewhat recycled episodes/scenarios we all remember from Ms. Ball's previous comedy series. Except that she was almost 75 years old at this time, and physical stunts were not her metier at that point.
Personally as much as I would also love to add this offering of Lucille Ball's to my DVD collection, I don't think her family will okay production of a DVD. I have seen it said in several places that the steep decline in ratings, as well as its cancellation before the end of its first season, devastated her. And I think her children would respect the fact that the reception this offering got hurt her so badly that it would be almost an insult to her legacy.
