The Misfit Girls from the Treasure Hunt episode.

Did anybody else want to see them return at all? After having seen all episodes on Netflix, I was a little bummed that they became just one-time characters. Yes, I know a lot of episodes have one-time characters, but we never knew what their fates were after the end of that episode. These girls were just some street kids who more than likely lived on the streets, probably orphans or runaways who did not have a good home life. Plus, we saw that they came around in the end. I don't even think they were really that bad at all, as they were only paid and bribed with food by Eric Raymond and Pizzazz in that episode. I would have liked for Jerrica to at least give them a place to live in the Starlight House.

All I need is one mic...

They probably ended up at Danse's halfway house and got counseling and eventually reunited with their their families. For all we know, if Christy Marx had gotten to do her follow up episode with Danny, we might have seen the girls their in some capacity.

There was an idea for a follow up show?

Christy Marx wanted to do a sequel episode where Danny and his father reunited and Danny (most likely) got to home with a happy ending, but Hasbro turned her down on that idea.

It's not surprising that Harsbo turned down that idea. From their point of view, they were only interested in episodes that would sell their dolls. lol. But it was stupid of them to turn it down because this would have been a good opportunity to sell the individual dolls of the Starlight Girls, who would have been featured in such an episode I'm sure. Harsbo probably jumped to the conclusion that the episode would appeal more to BOYS, just because Danny is a boy.

I didn't necessarily miss THOSE characters, but it would have been nice to see them after they "came around" I suppose. Maybe interacting with the Starlight Girls as friends.

And I actually don't blame Jerrica for not taking on more girls. If she did, she wouldn't be able to give them the kind of individual attention and emotional support they need.
