Theory About Danny (The Music Awards)

Okay, ignoring the fact that he's not voiced by Scott Menville, hear me out:

Danny from the two parter "The Music Awards" and Danny from Sunbow's other series My Little Pony & Friends look almost exactly alike, they just have different outfits.

So I'm thinking that after My Little Pony ended, Megan, Molly and Danny's parents got divorced, and while Megan and Molly stayed with their mother on the farm, Danny's dad got custody of him and moved to Los Angeles and started drinking heavily, taking it out on Danny.

The VA difference could be explained as Danny just having gone through puberty and gotten older. I kind of wish that Christy Marx had been able to do the follow up episode where Danny and his dad are reunited, but I just noticed the design similarities between the two and just theorizing.

That's a great theory, but the only way it would make sense is if all memory of Dream Valley, Paradise Estate and the Ponies had been magically wiped out of Danny's mind after 'My Little Pony' ended.

Well, even if he still retains those memories, it's not like Megan could lead a charge to rescue him without raising a LOT of questions, if she's even aware of how bad his situation is.

There is also the possibility that all the ponyland stuff was in his head and he used it to escape from reality because of things such as his homelife.

That's a good theory, too. I could see this being a movie along the lines of Where the Wild Things Are or Pan's Labyrinth.
