Medieval societies?
The back of my DVD mentions something about shady medieval societies, but I have no recollection of this cropping up in any of the episodes. Can anyone shed some light on it?

Thank you - that clears it up. I do vaguely remember the reference to Teutonic knights, but I didn't make the connection.
shareIf you can get old of a copy of the screenplay (published by Faber in the UK) it contains an essay by TKM which explains how he drew on medievel myth for EOD. This also addresses the issue of the black flower raised in another thread. I will see if i can find the book and be more specific.

There was a reference somewhere by Jedhburgh that Grogan's 'great-great grandfather killed me great-great grandfather' suggesting that the events of Edge of Darkness are part of a vendetta that has lasted for centuries.
