anyone any idea what the record that was playing when jedburg and pendelton found emmas boyfriend dead is called or who its by?

The 'official' soundtrack was released as an Eric Clapton EP on BBC records: 12 RSL 178. It's a 12", and is pretty rare now.

Unless the music has been seriously remixed I wouldn't bother with the original disc. A pale shadow of what you hear in the series. All the music was heavily remixed during the dub...
shareI went out and bought the 12 inch single of the music to this series by Clapton when it was released back in 1985 and still have it. Wonderfully atmospheric and complemented the action perfectly.
