'Bread' was made by the BBC. The outside filming was all shot on location in Liverpool, and the inside scenes were all filmed at BBC Television Centre in front of a live studio audience.

I could be totally wrong but I have a feeling it might be, looking at Pam's interests on IMDB they suggest soimebody with a great interest in films and things but also much of it is quite obscure.
Bread is being repeated on GOLD just now (in UK) and I thought her performances were very good.
I think the show maybe in the later parts and I'm not sure Pamela was in the last series, Shifty didn't seem to be.

If it is you Pam, what have you done all these years, I was only very young when I girst saw the show.

reply

I think it is Pam!! Because Pamfino posted on Youtube too on the Bread episodes, and said she is the very same!

Yeh it was violent!! I think it's good how that series added a bit of drama to the show, and showed the anger of Nellie Boswell towards her husband's betrayal! A bit of gritty realism, not just all humour! :)

reply

Most of Carla Lane's stuff is not sitcom it's based more in grit and reality, looking at Butterflies which although based in a welathier family reflects more melancholy life and unhappiness etc.
Be nice if Pam says if it is her or not.
