Played by the same actress in Series 5 as in the Xmas Special in 1988 in Rome. I believe she was but i'm unsure 100% as i've not got the credits that include the actress' name from the Rome Episode. I think it is a pitty too the Rome episode has never been shown (as far as i know on UK TV Gold or a similar station).

Uk TV GOLD are just into the 5th series now and they missed the Rome episode.

Hmm but we never found out though did we Claire if Magdalana was played by the same actress in 1989 who played her in 1988! If it was the same actress her acting had severly gone down the swanny from the Rome Episode I think!

Uk TV GOLD are just into the 5th series now and they missed the Rome episode.

That is because it was a Special. GOLD normally only shows them on Holidays, and/or dedicted weekends because it messes the schedule up because of the episode length.

Unless it is Only Fools And Horses which I love equaly as much as I do Bread, which has it's "specials" shown more than any programme on G.O.L.D what-soever!

Yes I know what you mean. However they still don't show them in sequence with the episodes they are in between, and normally they are only shown at the weekends.
