Favourite Series - which are your's?

My ones in order would be - with reasins next to them or in brackets;

1) 1988 - Series 4. The build up to Aveline's Wedding and what a fitting last ever episode that might of made, i'd of been very happy if had ended there.

2) 1986 - Series 1. Say no more, it was the first, it has to be up there!

3) 1990 - Series 6. A brilliant comeback though the original Aveline and Joey were no longer in the Series or Julie for that matter. Brining in Leonora was a great stroke of writting and eventualy Jack suffering in the same way as Billy did with Julie because Leonora now lived in Juli's. Also the first episode just felt so bright too compared to Series 5 too, as alterations had to made because of Peter Howitt leaving after Rome 1988.


My Worst 3 would be;

1) 1991 - Series 7. Just not Bread at all for me, it ended in a way after the Series 6 Xmas Special and the first episode of Series 7 was so terrible!I don't think the storyline of them ganster types chasing Joey was relevent at all, especialy as he had paid "Hunter" Money in Series 5. Though Series 7 had it's moments like the "Big House", had many funny moments and Connie's "Ham Salad Wedding" remark in the last but 1 episode ever, where Jack's key's landed in the Custard! Totaly hilarious, my favourite ever scene from Bread.

2) 1989 - Series 5. It was good but the change of Joey and Aveline never helped but it was still good, with Jack returning home from America being great for the original cast - though not the original actors and actress'.

1987 - Series 3. Again, it had great episodes and bringing in Uncle Eddie, though it is argued that there was 2 Series from 1987 was great as it paved the way I felt for Jack to go to America. Julie marrying Billy was great too, but I thought it had a lot of a way to go to match the first two Series, so soon I think/thought.

It would be good to recieve any opinions/thoughts please.
