I couldn't choose just one fave, but I really love Episode 3 of Series 3.
Adrian gets all manly and tough, and there's a bit of drama as the whole family, especially Jack, face the realities of not having enough money!!!
Bread could've been made for this generation, it makes us feel we're a bit like the Boswells! :)

There were some great episodes from the 1988 Series too, like when Adrian bought everyone presents because his Poems were then published!
Uncle Cyril's funeral was an amazing one as well - more so when when Mrs Boswell threw the Handbag with Uncle Cyril's Ashes into the Mersey while they were on the "Edith May" and she started going on about where Freddie was for the birth of all the kids!
Though I think the 1988 Series takes some beating, every episode in that was good 9though of course Jack was only in 1 episode, but in voice).
There were some great ones from 1990 too, the last one of that Series being very good as well as when Shifty drove to London in the Bus and it ended with the sign "M1 - London".
There are too many to mention to say just 1 though I think. Also there was Rome in 1988 too ...being very veery good!

I remember watching Adrian drive off on his motorbike yelling "I'm a published poet!" when I was 10 yrs old (1988), and then soon after, I had some poems published along with my class mates in a school anthology, so I opened my front door and shouted out "I'm a published poet!" ........ *criiiinnnge!*
You will be the same age as me then Luisa - give or take a bit!! I was 11 then in 1988 and recall the Series from 1988 really well ... in=particulary Adrain saying "you'll see me on Wogan"!!
Yeah though there are too too many good episodes of Bread to name JUST 1 i'd say though (as I already have). I am inclined to say that there were no "not good ones"!
I really love any episode in which there are Mafia Boswells scenes, where they all go off in a menacing little gang to sort things out- particularly the one where Aveline is being sexually harassed by her photographer and they steal his clothes XD
I also do quite like the one where Joey takes Grandad down the DHSS and Grandad is embarrassing, mixes Martina up with Lilo Lil, can't get up, walks past the counter, nearly gives away Joey's scam and then proclaims to the world 'she hasn't got big tits!'
The catfight between Nellie and Li Lo Lil in S3 was my favorite
