You gotta admit that the concept of this movie sounds kinda scary. I mean, imagine a zoo having a mass breakout, and all the animals escape. And on top of it all they are all flying on a mass dosage of PCP.
Mass hysteria and lots of carnage ensues as a result!
It probably sounded better on paper.

I actually liked the film. Bit of dubious animal cruelty, but certainly an original idea. I especially liked the Polar Bear, although he should've eaten those annoying kids before 'getting straight'.

I think either Media-Blasters or Dark Sky Films needs to give this a proper DVD release.
I thought the scene with the cheatah chasing after the car was kinda funny. Now watch this get remade :(

Pardon, I sounded to blunt. What I meant is I think the movie is too obscure to be remade. Or considered. I'm pretty sure a lot of people, aside from cult fans don't even know this movie existed.
Could it be remade, possibly. However, I think if they remade it they'd go with a tongue in cheek approach and make it like Snakes on a Plane or Piranha 3D. Would there be a lot of CGI. Possibly, but I think they'd also use live animals for some of the scenes, making it a mixture of CGI (I prefer CGI to be used for monsters because they're more unreal so they should have a sense of not being overly realistic), animatronics and live animals.
Still, Wild Beasts is an okay movie, I don't think it's quite up to par with similar films, but it does its job. So I don't think we're gonna have to worry about a remake. The worse that could happen is if they make a movie that is similar.

Interesting except whoever wrote it missed the fact that PCP is an animal tranquilser. It's only people who go loopy under it's effects.
