?????DVD?????? and not just this one..

Shouldn't IMBD provide links to the studios so frustrated film lovers can let them know that good quality films such as this one are being over looked for a DVD release.

I agree, I'd love a copy of this on DVD.

Too bad it's a Region 2 disc. Guess it's time to spring for a multi-region player.

I actually have the DVD now its a must buy !!!

guys, it's become almost annoying for people to complain about films not being ntsc, region 1.

A multi-region, multiformat player from philips or samsung or daewoo should cost lest than US$60.00.

It's not peanuts but it's a reasonable price, I'd strongly suggest you get one and start anjoying the wonders of foreign dvd releases(check amazon.uk and/or hkflix, my best recommendation).

peace!

...except that they're not sold in the US.

I've opted to use my laptop for Region 2 and my DVD player for region 1. You only get 5 chances to change a DVD drive in a PC, there may be hacks out there, I've not found one for my laptop yet.

I've seen several <$50 DVD players, cheap imports, support all region out of the box, but it's not an advertised feature, they have a 12 month life expectancy.

There's a website http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks which helps you see if there is a way to region free your DVD player.

I've also gotten region 0 discs from the UK, but they are PAL not NTSC, and they still won't play on my old diehard Sony, even though it will play my Region 0 NTSC discs.

I stumbled upon your post here and, if you haven't found it already, I'd recommed a program called dvdregionfree. It runs in the background on your PC when you load a dvd and pretty much tricks the computer into thinking that it's whatever region the dvd player is set for. It saves the hassle of switching dvd regions on your laptop.

I wish they'd release this in the US

As stated on an earlier thread the enite movie is avilable on youtube.com .
The movie istelf is broken up in to six or seven parts(due to the fact you can only put 10 minuites at a time on youtube)but it is all there uncut. Just make shure you watch the parts in order. Youtube also has hard to find animated movies(at least in the U.S.) The Plague dogs, heavy traffic, hey good looking and both the Fritz the cat movies in there uncut form as well.
