shareI just read it. There is a lot of unrelated jibberish is there another kind? anyway the wrestling stuff is awsome. It had a lot of unpleasant things that I'm glad the movie skipped. Dead kittens shooting a wounded dear they just hit. A dead baby, dope/drug references beastialogy was mentioned that was way over the top creepy no need for that worthless crap. Gary Shute in the book not Ryan 147 the weight, some stupid charactor named sausage I read very very fast ,probably why I can't spell or puntcuate I loved the ending it was worth the read. I never have bought a fictional book in my life I like to LEARN WHEN I READ but loved the movie so much I had to read it.
shareThe book is very different than the movie. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are reading it because of the movie. Carla is a totally different character. The ending is also different. I don't want to give it away though.
shareJust because a book is fiction doesn't mean you can't learn something from it. Like maybe how to write properly.
shareYeah you can certainley learn from novels. Try James Michner, you'll end up learning so much about various places and be entertained with a story along the way.
