I hated how much Loudain kept saying this througout the movie...it really got annoying.....Also what is Madonna doing singing at a dive bar in Spokane? The movie was 1985 and she hit it big before then...are we really supposed to believe that?

I think he only said it twice- and I just accept that teens repeatedly say annoying things including "craptastic" "gag me" and "gnarly". But I'll agree the words didn't flow from him naturally and should have been rewritten.
And Madonna wasn't in a Spokane dive bar. She was playing a woman in a band, playing in a Spokane dive bar, doing a cover of a Madonna song. I'm just trying to figure out why a bar like that would have a Madonna cover band playing there...
