Did Madonna ever comment on this movie?

I loved the song Crazy for You that Madonna sang, but I can't find anything online about what Madonna thought of the movie or her song. Her song trumped all others on the soundtrack and hit #1 but nothing in Wiki or elsewhere on her thoughts about it.

She brought the song out of mothballs to do it on her last tour (and the crowd response was EPIC!), so she, at least, understands its appeal.

Crazy for You and Live to Tell (from At Close Range) were the only two Madonna songs I ever likes. Live to Tell was amazing.
