This is my favourite bond movie

A View To A Kill is my number 1 favourite bond movie, and I am a HUGE bond fan. I've heard all the criticisms, but I just don't agree with them / they don't effect me. I feel isolated though, because the vast majority will disagree with me.

Your not alone. A view to a kill is the best bond movie according to me. It got it all and i prefer Roger Moore most of all Bonds, even if there have been other good Bonds.

I don't understand the hate for AVTAK...I live it, my second favourite Moore as Bond film

This film still works wonders on me. Absolutely love it.

Whats not to love? You get Christopher Walken as the mad man villain and perhaps one of the best themes ever made for a James Bond movie by Duran Duran, which also entered the music charts in the top 10.

the fight on the golden gate bridge, bond hanging from the fire truck ladder speeding through the streets, christopher walken as the villain, "yeah dr. mortner will be proud of his creation", "don't bother stacey...he's a psychopath.", about the music cd to this, one thing i don't like is how the beach boys tune california girls (played in the opening sequence as bond is skiing like in the spy who loved me) isn't featured on the cd soundtrack, i'm used to the cds as i listen to them regularly, and as i watch the movies i keep hearing tunes not featured on the cd, funny enough people complain it's misplaced playing it during a great stunt, so on the soundtrack where it would fit it isn't but during that part of the movie... the theme music to these 1980s bond movies are frequently played on the music television station vh1 with different photography. there are cassette tapes in this just as in diamonds are forever, i thought perhaps cd would be around about this time. that is one huge omelette bond is making in this. tibbett is like someone who's been bond's sidekick in several movies, i wonder why they didn't just use felix, by the way, this wasn't the first time moore and macnee worked together, i think they were even friends, i wish he, spoiler, made it to the end though, maybe that's why they didn't use felix as they had to keep him in the franchise. this bond movie has some great villains in it, may day who makes a heroic act in the end, i guess bond never knew about tibbett, i wish the leading lady had a better role, hardly memorable as most of it is screaming like a horror movie victim, also i wish she coloured her hair brown in this, well actually i don't know her real hair colour, but i prefer her as a brunette.

ready to count you out,
little honey be gone with you now,
like funny smoke came from the chimney,
you danced away with me,
turned me to ashes had me for dinner,
unlocked the key to my mind,
and smoked me out.

A good Bond movie.

Roger Moore was never James Bond.

And I donโ€™t give a damn what your โ€œcollege professorโ€ has to say. Think for yourself.

Mine too with Live and Let Die right behind.

reply

It and The Spy Who Loved Me are the only Moore movies I like. Both great. Far less goofy than his usual shit.

Speaking of James Bond, do you guys remember Pierce Brosnan? He is in a new movie called The Misfits, and he is looking great for this new movie! I cannot wait to watch it. He is also working alongside Tim Roth and Nick Cannon too! Here is a trailer in case anyone wants to watch it: https://bit.ly/3xAiKLz
