Why doesn't Rob Reiner acknowledge this film?

I think it's his best and I've never heard him mention it. Shame.

It's his best as far as I'm concerned but I guess because he wanted to move on to more mature work although most of it is not more mature except Stand By Me and Ghosts of Mississippi. He makes good films though so I'm not trash talking.

There is a letterman vid on youtube where he is promoting this film if that helps. He even gives a shoutout to cusack and zuniga who are sitting in the audience. Its very cute.
