Road to Dushanbe
I remember watching a Bond film with a similiar plot where they mention the road to Dushanbe, does anyone recall the name of that Bond film?

shareAt a guess, i would say its either "The Living Daylights" or "From Russia With Love"?
shareI've seen all the Bond films countless times and I honestly can't remember any reference to Dushanbe in any of the films. The only Bond film that dealt with a story whose setting was in the proximity of the Tajikistan region would be "The Living Daylights" - it dealt with Afganistan and the Mujahadeen. But no mention of Dushanbe or Tajikistan in that film. Also in "The World is Not Enough" one of the settings is Kazakhstan. But again no mention of Dushanbe there.

In Living Daylights, he said road to Karachi.
shareYes, at the end of THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (just after the Hercules plane crashes into the mountain) we see a road sign with an arrow pointing to Karachi. Bond then tells Kara that he knows an excellent restaurant in Karachi.
