does anyone knwo the name of the song that is beign played when the rocket is being launched...was it a bond song?
any help would be appreicated
"Soul Finger" by the Bar-Kays...I think Dan Ayrkoyd actually says what it is in the movie too, could be wrong though.

shareDan says something like "Are those guys listening to Soulfinger by the Bar-kays?" and then the Russians start to party down. It's not a Bond theme, but you can change the lyrics to 'Goldfinger' if you're in to that sort of thing.
I'm fond of this song because the old Chinese lady in our local takeaway here in Scotland used to ask "Sal' Vin'ger?" when asking if we wanted salt and vinegar on our chips and we'd always start dancing to this tune to annoy her. Yeah, she really *beep* hated us for that.
