I wish they used the song in the movie!

When I read "Where are you going, Where have you been?" for the very first time, it was a pinnacle in my life. I read it hundreds of times after that, but the first time I read it I immediately looked up Joyce Carol Oates (the story was in a book of random stories, and I hadn't heard of Oates before then) and discovered that the story was inspired by "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue", which I listened to immediately after that! That is how I discovered who is now one of my favourite musicians. Each time I read the story after that, I saw how well the song fit, and I could hear it as Connie opened the screen door and followed Arnold to the car. When I heard there was a movie interpretation out there, I just KNEW they would use the song for the end, and when I found out they hadn't, I felt major disappointment. I so wish they did; the song fits so well. Anyone else agree?

I agree that the song would work for the ending. I guess you could always play a CD of it when you're watching the movie and it comes to the last scene.
