I just rented this movie through Netflix because I also am a HUGE Treat Williams fan. I hope this movie doesn't creep me out about him - I've NEVER seen him in a love/sex scene so if the title of this thread is true, maybe it will just increase my love for this damned sexy actor!

I was upset to see it...but it means he played the part well...a very underrated actor in his time and now.
I read the short story by Oates and believe much more could have been done to make his character even creepier and the story a bit better. She's a great writer.

Treat wears those jeans just as good as he did as Berger in Hair. YUM. But I agree, Arnold Friend was CREEPY. I actually laughed when he was rocking out in the car. I felt as if Treat were channelling Berger, but Berger via Charles Manson. LOL
