The friends get back together in 1906 San Francisco's Barbary Coast right before the earthquake. Originally gathering there to find and rescue Paden's daughter who had been kidnapped and forced into prostitution, they get sidetracked by the fires that destroyed the Barbary Coast after the famous Earthquake.
