My Question of the day is if they will put it to DVD. They already have Heman season one on it's way so I was wondering if anyone knew if She-Ra would get her turn, and more specifically the movie, because I loved it when I was a kid.
Hi! I've been a massive fan of She-Ra since I was a child! I'm now 22 and from Northern Ireland. I've just found out that the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special is being released on DVD in the UK on Monday 28th November! Also, it is being released in the US on 6th Decemeber! I hope this is of some help to you!
It was released theatrically in the U.S. but I'm not sure if it was given the big screen treatment elsewhere. I still have an old movie program from the film that my parents purchased for me at the theater (it includes a mini-comic book adaptation of the movie).
North American Region 1 DVD fans aren't the only ones who will be treated to the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special this holiday season. European Region 2 DVD fans can also expect a release of the Christmas Special on November 28, 2005 priced at £12.99. The Region 2 DVD includes many of the extras produced by BCI for the Region 1 DVD, such as:
* The "I have the Power" music video featurette * Character and creature profiles * Trivia and fun facts * Two documentary features o "The Morals of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" o "The Heroes and Villans of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"
The Region 2 DVD will be released through Right Entertainment and will be available in all good high street retailers. And it also features art and design from He-Fan Eamon O'Donoghue (Pig Boy on the forums)
I was an fortunate/unfortunate to buy a boot-legged copy off of e-bay, but I didn't know it was <the guy is now banned>. I remember watching this movie on VHS constantly as a kid and I really wanted it on DVD. I saw it on e-bay and was like "good stuff". I still got my dvd and it's still very good quality, but I still wish they would release it officially.
