Was this movie considered a hit?

I have no recalation of this movie coming out....then again, I guess I was only four at the time and got into He-Man when I was five or six. Was this a big movie at the time? I guess it was only released in America and West Germany....strange.

reply

Does anyone find it Strange that HE-Man is always bashed for being a Nazi and the only other place it was released out of the us was in Germany.

Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels.

I remember seeing it and I'm in the UK....

In the theater?

reply

I remember seeing it in the theater, cause my brother was big into He-Man. I've never heard or seen He-man refered to as a Nazi. Where'd that come from? Looking back on it 20 years later, Prince Adam does seen sorta gay though.

I remember seeing it in the theater and I was 2, my brother was 4 and into He-man and I got into She-Ra from the movie.... okay one bit I remembered. I remembered Hordak holding a baby and running. I also remember having a lot of crazy dreams from when I was younger and I had dreamed up some She-Ra/Adora scenerios, and I thought it was all a dream until I bought the movie and saw Hordak running with baby Adora from the Sorceress and Man at Arms that made my jaw drop... btw is it Man and Arms or Man at Arms?

Mythbusters-Jamie: [over radio] This is one of those "What the hell am I doing?" moments, over!
