I saw this in the theater in 1985. The crowd was cheering like crazy for Rocky. The Cold War was still alive and kicking! (Like it is again today for some reason)

shareI saw it at the theatre. I was 6. I don't recall any reactions. I remember I seen the Santa Clause movie a week or so prior and still associate the two movies together. I seen Rocky IV countless times and owned it on both vhs and dvd.
The interesting thing, if I watch the trailer to the Santa Clause movie I get a nostalgic sense of Rocky IV being brand new and my anticipation to watch it.
