There's an early scene in the film where Adrian protests about the idea of Apollo returning to the ring after five years of retirement. This would probably explain her absence from the Las Vegas fight. share
I remember that scene. Just because Adrian didn't want Apollo to fight again didn't mean she could not sit with his wife. Rocky and Apollo had been very close. Their wives should have been at least acquaintances.
shareI always wanted to see that dynamic between Mrs. Creed and Mrs. Balboa in Rocky III and IV.
In Rocky III, Adrian should've stayed at the Creeds and there could've been a lot of interaction with her and MaryAnne while Rocky was training with Apollo. I know she wants to stand by her man, but she didn't have to rough it with Rocky while he was getting the eye of the tiger back.
