clubber lang in early drafts of the script?

anyone can tell me how Clubber was supposed to be involved?

Just a ring side commentator I believe. Bit like Apollo in rocky 3.

The original first draft had Clubber, Apollo and James brown singing "living in America" together at the fight...

Apart from the part III flashbacks, Lang is not featured in the two drafts I have (one is an early draft, the other a shooting fraft).

I think that's just a rumor...

I believe Mr. T was occupied filming the A-Team at the time.
Not sure if he was ever intended to be in this film.
