MGM needs to release Stallones Original Cut of this movie!

Supposedly, one hour of this movie was cut by the studio. i wonder if they will release it. i dont know if its true, however it could be as ive seen some deleted images.

I only know of one deleted scene for Rocky IV. There was a scene where Rocky meets with the Boxing Commission and they refuse to sanction the fight with Drago because of Drago killing Apollo. A bit of the scene is in the Rocky IV trailer.

I've seen a few images of scenes that weren't in the movie. But they were mostly of Rocky training.

Some of those scenes are in the trailer, and made their way into the newspapers clippings shown before the footage of the press conference.

I very much agree with the OP; I would also like Sly to do commentaries for all the Rocky movies.

This movie's cut seems fine.

nope, its this movie and also it was stallone who cut the footage, not the studio (i hope). Thats why this movie feels like a music video with loads of montages because there was so little footage of actual drama. I wish the workprint would leak or more images. (you can only see a few). Im guessing all the footage is toasted just like all the other cut footage from Rocky to Rocky V! *beep*

Something tells me this scene would have looked a lot like the scene in Rocky Balboa when he takes his case to the boxing committee... And I'd be willing to bet that it was mostly a rehash of that same scene.
