Did Drago deliberately kill/murder Apollo or not?

Discuss. After all, Drago did shove the referee. If so, what was Drago's intention?

I don't think Drago set out to literally kill Creed, but he certainly set out to prove a point of how much better he was over Creed. Of course, as per Drago's post match comments, he didn't care if Creed ended up dead as a result of the beating he had inflicted upon him: "If he dies, he dies!"

Drago was unaccustomed to trash talk. He took all that media pandering from Apollo seriously. I think his temper and ego got the better of him and he wanted to teach Apollo a lesson. Once he smacked the crap out of him, there was nothing to do except be all bada$$ about it.
