I just saw "The Red Violin" again, and was totally blown away by the terrific score by John Corigliano. He is clearly a major talent. I have also heard his score for "Altered States", and found it exceptional, but had problems with the film itself. I just sent for "Revolution" in the hopes that he does as outstanding a job here. In reading about the film, I just found out that it received the Razzie Award for "the worst musical score" for 1985. It is interesting that you liked it so much whereas the Razzie boys obviously hated it. With his terrific work on both "Violin" and "States", it seems very strange that he would do so poorly with "Revolution". I can hardly wait to hear it to see which of you I agree with!
