it can't be that bad? from what i see from poster, tagline and plot summary it looks quite good. can i have someone back me up.

If you know who Joe Wright is, he was in it as an extra as a kid/teen.

He later cast Donald Sutherland in his beautiful movie Pride and Prejudice that Joe directed.

This movie obviously made an impact on one of our finest directors today.

Also, you may learn something about history. You sound like a student, right?

It's pretty boring and though I heard it was expensive, it's quite ugly to look at.

Only for Al Pacino, that's it. It's not that bad but Pacino is miscast, he looks so Sicilian yet they dyed his hair dirty blond to pass a Scottish lol. I also can't take his accent very seriously, Pacino to me is just very NYorker.
