Pacino's worst movie

as he has stated he disliked it so much that he gave up on movies for 4 years

Cruising is Pacino's worst movie.
The production is rubbish, the camera work is cheap looking, the script is dire, and the acting all round is awful.
Its like a bad student movie.
In comparison, Revolution is ground breaking.

Well apparently he's recorded a new narration for Revolution Revisited, a director's cut that comes out this year. Can't wait!

Pacino is apparently in Gigli, so I guess that must be the worst film he's been in!

Righteous Kill and 88 Minutes are said to be awful too.

But Pacino's worst movie for me is probably The Recruit.

Ya gotta worry when the little Italian guy is cast as a Scottish fur trapper.🐭

They tried to dye his hair light brown but Pacino is very Sicilian looking.

Yes. Its easily his worst film.

reply

Not even close. On the contrary, I think it's his most underrated.

The Son of No One is the worst, and no other movie I've seen with him so far even comes close.

reply

Worse than Jack and Jill?

reply

I don't count that or Me, Natalie, or Gigli as Pacino films, they're cameos.

no pacino worst movie is cruising. who want to see film about bum ticklers? opening scene in cruising is rent boy tieing up fellow butt pirate with bum up in air facing camera. who want to see this?! worst film of all times.

reply

I'm sorry but have you seen Cruising? That movie made my eyes bleed, lol. Pacino himself said, he felt duped into making that film. He was sold that it would be 1 film but while making it, they flipped and made it into something else. I think Revolution was simply the end of his rope, by this time he had made Cruising, Scarface, and Revolution which were all lambasted by critics upon release. Scarface is beloved now, the other 2 not so much. But Revolution, you can watch and leave unscathed, Cruisin is almost traumatic to watch. 88 Minutes is worse too.
