If I recall correctly Remo endures a severe beating at the start of the movie. But when I saw it on TV there was no beating, the bad guys just knocked his car into the water to drown him. Anyone else come across this toned-down TV version?
shareYep. Very much so. Very common on come stations to butcher a movie for time or kist because someone doesnt like violence.
I've lost track of all the movies that have been hacked to pieces over seemingly trivial things on TV. Its what makes Cable stations like HBO, Showtime, etc so popular. Ususally unedited movies, no advertisements during the movie, and sometimes you get to see extended versions of a film with extras put back in.
