Bit of a long shot but does anybody remember a movie simalar to this, where the main bad guy is stabbed through the chest at the end but his heart is in a cage or something? I seem to remember the action taking place in a fort or something and the good guys fighting their way upstairs to get the heart.
I have vague memories of this as kid but cannot for the life of me remember anything else.

It's a Sinbad movie, which one, can't remember the name. Saw it when I was kid. love it back then.

It definitely sounds like Captain Sindbad (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056904/) which has a finale in a fort with a giant stone hand who perishes when Sindbad stabs his heart or chucks it into some lava as far as I remember. Saying that, I've also got a vague memory what I think was a Sindbad flick where the hero climbs a rope to get some object to defeat the baddie.
