Bad movie indeed. But you have to like the effort. The 2 heroes Arnold and Brigitte could hardly speak a lick of english. This is more like a comedy, and its not supposed to be. 80's movie rock!

I think you are right. But Arnold is mostly worth seeing a movie, even this one. And though it is not really good, I still quite liked it. Like "Conan the Barbarian", it is the classic adventure cast into a movie - any role player should like it for this.

Well "Conan the Barbarian" is a fantasic Movie,the second one was very weak.Red Sonja to was weak and camy but still enjoyable as fun movie.

Arnold by the way was excellent in this movie .

I got my mum 6 Arnie films for xmas because shes mad about him and this was one of them.I hadn't seen this film in years and mum put it on so we could have a christmas day Arnie fest and despite the dreadful acting (particularly from the lead actress) I thought it was great and was cheering them all on! I was drunk though....

Yeah. First I wondered why HBO was still showing it. Then I wondered why I was watching it. Then I wondered where this has been all my life. Though certainly no Zardoz, it's certainly one for the books.

It's a bad movie, but just so entertaining you can't help but to like it.

Eh, I really enjoy this sword and sorcery flick. If you want bad, check out Deathstalker.

Indeed it's not a good movie, but it is moderately entertaining.

I agree. Once I realized it was crap I stopped judging it and just started enjoying the goofiness and shoddiness of it. To its credit Nielsen did look the part and is kind of a precursor to Xena.

It reminded me that back in the pre-CG days if filmmakers didn't have the budget for expensive miniatures and sets, lots of extras etc. they had to make do. I actually liked the monster skeleton bridge.

5/10
