Where is the scene with the soldier holding his torn arm?

I've read that Spielberg copied this particular scene for Saving Private Ryan as an homage.

I watched the whole movie but couldn't see it.

Where particulary is it?

The scene you mention with the guy grabbing his severed forearm, can be found at 1h:02m:01s in the version of the movie I've got (62minutes into the movie).

Right after the attack of Taro's men start butchering Lord Hidetora's men.

I hope this picture clarifies what scene are you talking about.

I still can't find it, maybe it was cut on my version

It was during a battle scene where you hear the music overlay. Regardless the man's expression this rings true to the debasement of war. They became as insects picking their off appendages. (Antz forum)
