Damn, it needed more action at the end. Needed Tackelberry!

They really screwed up the ending. I wish the ending was similar to the "City Under Siege sequel". Tackelberry should've been in the final scene, as well. I guess they thought that since Tackelberry misses all the action (like in this first one) he should miss it in the second on as well. The ending to third one was pathetic, too. Just a whole chase scene with nothing going on. But still, I like the second one out of all the Police Academy films.

There is a deleted scene where Tackleberry and Kirkland drive up in their motorcycles after the gang has been apprehended and they are told they missed the gunplay, and Kirkland fires her gun into a gang's car. Then the two lovebirds start to go off and the gang goes, "AWW!" and try to escape and Hightower says, "HOLD IT!" and they all freeze with their hands up. Guess they felt they didn't need that scene. There are several deleted scenes in the film.
