sequel?

did this movie have a sequel?

or,

was there a movie that came after this one that was very similar, and had a similar title, but a completely different cast and crew?

i swear there was a movie that came after this one that was so similar that it had to have some relation to this movie...but i can't find any connection, or even the move itself on this site.

any ideas?

No sequel that I'm aware of. However, there have been many comedic vampire movies made over the years. Once Bitten and Love At First Bite have always been favorites.

Well there was one called My Best friends A Vampire.

Yeah, there really should have been! It's been a favorite of mine since the day it came out on good 'ole VHS. Now I've got it on DVD, but my battered pre-viewed copy still has a spot on my shelf. ;)

Yeah, "My Best Friend is a Vampire" has always been a favorite of mine too. It's underrated! Nice to know it's got a few other fans out there!

THEY SHOULD MAKE A SPECIAL EDITION DVD,WITH AUDIO COMMENTARY FROM SOME OF THE CAST.

Dude that doesnt prove anything...it was on that list with back to the future that made over 100,000,000 in like 5 weeks...the only thing it beat out in the opening week-end was a death wish movie and rainbow bright and the star stealer

THAT'S STILL IMPRESSIVE FOR A B-MOVIE,WITH NOT ALOT OF ADVERTISING,AND NO PROMOTION.AND DON'T FORGET THERE WASN'T ALOT OF STAR POWER IN THIS MOVIE EITHER.LAUREN HUTTON AND CLEAVON LITTLE WERE HAS BEENS WHEN THIS CAME OUT AND JIM CAREY WASN'T A STAR YET.AND ALSO KAREN KOPINS AT THE TIME WAS ONLY KNOWN AS A FORMER CONNECTICUT.
