According to Wikipedia, Once Bitten is gaining a cult status, but I never hear anyone make any references to it. Is it really a cult film?

Given that it's such an under-rated movie I'd say yes it's acquiring a cult following. I think those that have seen it have a great fondness for it.
shareI personally never heard of this movie. It's from the year that I was born in and I only know caught it by chance on the MGM channel in my country. I also have never heard anyone made a reference to it, granted a lot of my friends aren't movie addicts like I am, they simply don't know much movies released or broadcast before they were teenagers.
I doubt this is a cult movie, although I guess you can call every fan group for a not so well remembered movie, no matter how small or big the group, is kind of a cult following by definition.
