In what seems like a dozen years Reelz channel Directv 238 will screen No Retreat No Surrender the only other time I remember seeing this on TV is on FX in the early 2000's. This one doesn't get a lot of showing on TV or am I wrong?
It's on again now; Reelz has cut out a lot of the film, probably to make time for the many commercials. It looks like there are around 15 minutes missing.

it's really hard to tell, as there are 2 completely versions of this movie; different scenes, different soundtrack, alternate takes, etc. Even the Bruce Lee character has 2 different voices from one film to the next. The version they show on REELZ is good, but it is not the long version, and there is a lot missing.

You consider it the better version probably because it is familiar to you, just like in Europe the longer version is considered better. I saw them both for the first time, back to back. I prefer the longer cut myself. as far as the music, I think both soundtracks work for the movie. C'mon, those added scenes were great!

The added scenes were alright but the music works better in the original version. The European version has considerably less effective music choices and the dubbing for the Bruce Lee character was a little more akwkard to me.
