Did Nancy intentionally left behind her diary when she moved out of the house as some sort of help guide?? because her diary felt more like an instruction book than a diary because it details more about how to defeat Freddy than her personal life.

The diary was friggin empty, anyone else notice that, I mean how hard could it have been for the filmmakers to just scribble some gibberish down but whenever they flick through the thing every page is blank
