Remake?

I just watched the movie today for the first time and I thought it was a pretty good movie for that time. It was well made and very well acted. I think it could do with a remake to make it more modern and bring it up to date. Also they should definitely make it R rated, like the original. If it was to be remade I think they should use the following people to be in it:

Camilla Belle--Abby McWilliams
Haley Joel Osment-- Eddie Dutra
Zac Efron-- Loren McWilliams
Dennis Quaid--Charlie McWilliams
Jean Smart-- Fay McWilliams
Lucas Grabeel-- Mark
Makenzie Rosman-- Karen
Nathan Gamble--Chad-Bob
Max Thierot-- Gideon
Jake Thomas-- Joe-Bob
Jake Lloyd-- Moonie

Who do you think should be cast if they make a remake?

Ryan Gosling or Ben Foster as Eddie Dutra for sure.

It would be a *beep* remake. Usually, remakes are terrible. I still dont understand why they remade Children Of The Corn and Fright Night.

That cast is too pretty lol I do think Max Thierot would make a good Dutra though......he's way too pretty for Gideon lol

Or how about they DONT remake it. Its a good movie to begin with. Many remakes are garbage these days, with the exception of a few.

Can we STOP with the F'in remakes already? Sheesh. Grow up people. Watch and enjoy the ORIGINAL, not the remake just because they can use CGI now.
