Was the video game creators inspired by this film. There are a lot of similarities and this came out before the game.

Legend (1985) being the main inspiration for The Legend of Zelda has never been confirmed, as far as I know (the trivia section on IMDb says otherwise). But yeah, some people find a lot of similarities between the two.

Yes. It has been confirmed that Legend directly influenced Legend of Zelda. Jack was a direct influence on Link

I would say no....Legend was released in December 1985, Legend of Zelda was released in February 1986. I highly doubt even someone as talented as Shigeru Miyamoto could produce a finished game in just 2 months...
