I was wondering.... does the German dvd have subtitles? Is either version in English? I know the R1 US DVD was in English with the German cut in German with subtitles. Is this the same way? I really want to buy it, but I don't know any German, so I really need to know. Thanks!
shareThe German DVD is titled "Joey" and is has both German and English soundtracks in HiFi and German subtitles. I do not know which language track was the original (that of the actors). It is Region 2, PAL, 16:9 widescreen and is 94 minutes long.

there are two versions on the (german) dvd:
original version runs 94 min and has ONLY german sound and NO subtitles!
english version runs 76 min and has english sound with ONLY german subtitles!
PAL dvds
the US-DVD has also only german sound in the original version but has english subtitles, which the german dvd has not!
