Who was the Masked Man At The End?

There is some confusion as to the identity of the man shot at the end.
When the mask was removed, it was only shown for a few seconds and at a distant. It went by so fast that no one can be sure.
The man did not look at all like Jeff Bridges because his hair was slicked back due to wearing of the mask.
Only upon mutiple viewing of the dvd or film, freezing the picture of the man, could you be certain that it was Jeff Bridges.

No, you can actually be sure that it was Bridges based on the reactions of Close and Loggia when the mask is removed.

It’s Jack Forrester because … of course it was.

This movie starts with every character saying he did it.
“You know what I think?” asks Sam. “I think he did it.”

It then spends the next 90 minutes laying a trap, letting us believe he’s innocent because … well, he’s now the underdog pursued by an ethically-challenged, over-zealous prosecutor Teddy’s faced before.

Then … the typewriter.
Game over.

The great Robert Loggia got an Oscar nomination, in no small part from his perfect delivery of the film’s last line:

“Fuck ‘im. He was trash.”

When this came out I was disappointed that I couldn't ID the unmasked man. How anti-climactic! I asked many in time and got mixed answers but at least some (now you) reveal it was hard to tell. For months I was pissed at this scene/shot----that should have been crystal clear.
