John Landis is brilliant as a terrorist in this movie. He is very funny in this.

Very funny movie!
Well, technically, he's not a terrorist; he's just a hired goon working for a shady Iranian businesswoman. Neither he nor anyone in his group seems to have any kind of political agenda. They're just out to make a buck.
He is hilarious, though. My favorite part of the movie is when he shoots the doorknob out of anger, even though it's unlocked.
